Register your app

Tell FireOTA about your React Native app, its platforms and its runtime version.

Step 1. Add the application

    Open Applications → Add application.

    Enter the name and choose the connected Firebase project.

    Fill in the Android package name and/or iOS bundle identifier exactly as in your app.
  4. 4
    Set the runtime version of the build that is (or will be) in the stores, e.g. 1.3.0.

Step 2. Channels

Four channels are created: production, beta, staging and development. A device subscribes to one channel (set in configure()) and receives the release currently published on it. Android and iOS releases on the same channel are independent.

Step 3. Copy the App ID

Open the app in the dashboard and copy its App ID — the SDK and the CLI both need it.
